Oprah invited me to be on Super Soul Sunday💜...in my dream

Holy Lord!

I dreamed the other night that Oprah Winfrey came to my house, knocked on my door, and wanted me to be her guest on Super Soul Sunday to discuss my book Luminous Humanness!

I was so excited, yet oh-so frazzled because I was unprepared... so much so that I spent the remainder of the dream (which felt like hours) running around my house trying to get lights and cameras just right. Meanwhile, a little voice in my head screamed, “Um…excuse me... Oprah Freaking Winfrey is in your house! For God's sake, stop what you’re doing and hang out with Oprah!”

But, I couldn't stop.

Eventually, in my waking state, I re-entered the dream and imagined a do-over. I stopped, called in more qualified folks to produce the segment, so I could simply hang out with this woman who's been an idol of mine since forever.

This dream made me think about this season we're in and how the story we tell about Jesus being born in a manger... Why? Because there was no room for him in the inn!

All the innkeepers sent him away because they were simply too full.

Isn't this the story of our lives?

Most of us think we have so much on our Christmas wish list, but what would really serve us best would be to LET GO of what's in the way of grace coming into our space.

The synchronicity of this dream is that I checked my Luminous Humanness book for December 5th and here's what was written.
