Then I came crashing back 🫨 into the density of my body. Don't get me wrong, I was grateful to be alive, but I was shocked that the HIGH didn't last, as I expected it to.
I learned how right on Thomas Edison was when he said, “Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.
Then Jack Kornfield followed with, “After the ecstasy, the laundry.”
In other words, no matter how high our heavenly moments may be, it’s the work of our lives to EMBODY our ecstatic dreams--and our most exalted waking experiences.
